    Seems intresting, but instead of gaurds stationed in the village, travelling adventurer, who may trade armour or weapons, and helps fight undead mobs.

    I was against the gaurd idea, as it will overshadow Iron Golem who aldready exists to protect the village and fight mobs

    I got a couple more villager ideas new villager:Miner villager
    with a miners Shack and work station this villager can spawn in larger villages that are near mountain ranges or massive caves, comes with its own villager home and a new type of work station as a material bin these miners harvest all things found under ground and can trade you materials from all manner of ores, this villager should also come with ore types.

    New villager: Forger
    comes with a forge shop and a forge work station, this villager works with the miner village buy the material to make new metals such as bronze, tin, steel ,titanium and tungsten bars. These materials can be traded for, mined, and crafted. These villagers come with new items for players to use such as new armors and weapons for instance steel armor and tool more durable than iron but still weaker than diamond bronze armor and tools slightly weaker than iron more durable than chainmail.

    New villager: Archer villager.
    The archer villager, comes with a tower like home, is a secondary protector of the village aids the iron golem in defense against long range opponents like skeletons and pillagers, if the village has a fletcher table a fletcher and archer exist.

    New villager: village elder
    The village elder is the oldest and wisest of them all, is basically the one in control, has a custom home that's more of a townhall. This villager can grant you special quests such as finding threatening pillager bases and illager hideouts.

    Ran out of room but here are 3 more new villager types.

    New villager: builder
    The builder is the village construction worker builds new structures for new villager types based on growth of the village has its own work station called advanced crafting table and has new items building blueprints. The blueprints are of the types of structures common to that village and area. Works with the village elder on village growth and expansion. The builder can be traded with buying blueprints or create your own to trade.

    New villager: harbor Master
    For villages near massive water fronts. This villager has a work station that is designed for building Ships. Like the one we find ruined or sunk in the ocean. You can use this station to build workable Ships for ocean travel. Moves faster than a boat and as durable as iron (for reference). You can trade with the harbor Master for ship blueprints from trader to explore each ship has different features. Trader vessels have more storage for transporting good and the explorer comes with crew members. ( there is also a fishing ship) This gives purpose to both ruined Ships and spyglass. As 2 other new items and come into play the cannon and cannon ball. There are 4 types of ships , fishing (1 sail), trader (2 sails) explorer( 3 sails), and finally warship (3 sails) warships are used by traveling pillagers and illagers. And a new enemy (Pirate)
