Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Structure Locater Maps

In structures that you find, for example a desert temple, a witch hut, or a Pillager Outpost, you should be able to find an object that is part of a crafting recipe that crafts a map. The map will be able to locate another structure of the same type. So if you find a (lets just call it a) Desert Temple Compass, you would be able to craft a Desert Temple map, that shows you where 1 or 2 Desert Temples are. An example of a crafting recipe for a Desert Temple map is

  • 1 Desert Temple Compass
  • 1 Map
  • 1 Locater Map
  • 1 Compass

There would be many types of maps for different structures and some would be able to be found in a shipwreck instead of a treasure map. Some would need more than 1 of its type of compass to craft it. Also cartographers would have a chance to spawn with a trade for one.
