1.18 (The Great Plains Sub Biome)

In 1.18 there are already many mountain sub biomes, but there is another one which could fit into the game.

The Great Plains Sub Biome generates below mountains in medium to low areas, it generates with unique grass colors and many types of dirt. There are some areas that spawn with ponds and really packed woods near mountain edges. This Biome also generates with Geysers and springs that generate with Magma or lava below them, adding more skill to mining like the azalea trees.

This Biome spawns lots of wolves and cows if you are looking for a pet and some meat.
