Caves and Cliffs / Warden Absolutely hates light

The warden . A big creepy monster that`s been living in darkness its whole life . And then I thought , could it be damaged by light since its never seen it before ? This Feature would be great in my opinion , but what if the warden also avoided light? I think if he was very mad he would be able to BREAK light sources . I think this would Fit perfectly in Caves and cliffs part II

  I think you haven't thought this through enough. The warden is blind. The devs stated this during Minecon Live 2020. Therefore, as it is blind it cannot see. It has not seen anything before because it has no eyes. Therefore, light cannot damage it as it has never seen light before. Great idea, but you haven't thought about it enough.

  Yes but when you close you eyes and put your face near something bright you can see light even though your eyes are closed and how do you not know this? Also most blind animals have eyes but dont use them , meaning the warden might of use to use them but they evolved to be blind perhaps because it lived in the deep dark .
