Ok so the idea is this:
The Haunted Forest biome is actually visible from other biomes but acts as a sort of pocket dimension. The Haunted Forest, when the play enters, instantly gives you permanent blindness until you break the Haunting.
The Haunted Forest biome also has 4 total mobs that can spawn in it: Skeletons, Spiders, Zombies, and a new mob I like to call a Geist, it's basically a Ghostly player model, that will run from the player if you get too close. The only thing that can damage Geists is Spectral Arrows. The Geists are fairly weak and 3 Spectral arrows should do the job, each Haunted Forest Biome can have up to 3 Geists maximum, they don't drop anything but once all Geists have been destroyed, the blindness effect is lifted immediately, allowing the player to explore the biome.
The structures found in this biome are basically just small abandoned starting builds, like the OG villager houses but with mossy cobble instead of normal cobble. The trees here are also leafless, withered and dead, I like to call them Cursed Trees, which basically just act as an alternate wood variant.
