In the current game, the border between snowy biomes/elevations and non-snowy biomes/elevations is stark and well defined. There needs to be some sort of a gradient in terms of snow on the ground on the borders of snowy and non-snowy areas to blend the environments together and create much smoother and natural transitions, as in my opinion, some areas of the game are somewhat ugly/plain because there is just a straight up border between snowy and non-snowy terrain. I noticed this very much in the experimental snapshots, particularly on the new mountains and new snowy areas where the biomes are blended and generated together well but the snow is not.
