Surface Caves should be Common Again!

As of the new experimental features on both java edition and bedrock edition, there is no way to get into caves! Less so on java, but on bedrock, this is a serious problem.

I started playing survival experimental, and I can't find any surface caves anymore, and the ones that do exist are flooded.

All the caves that exist now you have to dig down to find no more surface caves, and while it may look nicer it is not that convenient.
I miss being able to jump down into a surface cave and collect iron, coal and other resources, now I either have to find a new mountain biome or make a mine, which is a pain in the early game with only stone tools.

I request Mojang to fix this, I do not think they should be as frequent as they were earlier, but as of now, there is none.

  This is a really big problem. The caves themselves are great but I struggle to find them a lot and usually need to dig down for a while to find them.
