This was likely an issue with Windows 10, Achievements on Windows 10 are recorded onto a companion, meaning that NO achievements can be earned without cheats disabled, while java's achievements are capable of being altered, and their possible to be deleted or given through commands, meaning that Java has more free achievements than Windows 10, this is also because Achievements are Recipes in Java edition, other than trophies, since Window's 10's achievement's are progress in one or more worlds

You see, achievements and advancements are different things.

Advancements are saved to one world, however achievements are saved to the entire account.

add advancements to bedrock and achievements to java so we can choose to enable them if we want or not. also add a sort of reward for earning an advancement to encourage people to do so

i think this is a great idea because my brother won't play minecraft without keep inventory on and were going to make a world where we try to get all the achievements/advancements

achievements are supposed to be hard, letting you get them with keepinventory on would make them way too easy
