Limestone is a block family that is a bit lighter than terricotta but darker than sandstone. Limestone can be found near lakes and rivers, but is most common in aquifers. The limestone blocks can be mined quickly with any pickaxe, but you can also destroy the block with a shovel. The shovel would mine the block slower than most pickaxes, but when it does break the block it will drop 1-2 clay balls and 1-2 sand blocks. The reason for this is because the limestone block can be crafted in a 2x2 crafting grid in a checkered pattern using clay balls and sand. The limestone block family consits of limestone, polished limestone, limestone bricks, and chiseled limestone, which has the pattern of a squids mouth on its side because it is found near water. Stairs slabs and walls are also made from limestone bricks, and normal limestone. Thank you for reading my concept of limestone blocks.
