This is an idea that I came up with awhile ago, criticism is welcomed.
Main Idea
- Fox loyalty would be an effect gained from foxes upon feeding them, disloyalty from hitting them.
- When a player with fox loyalty is nearby they will steal items from mobs(such as a skeleton's bow, villager inventory, and armor on zombies) or players with fox disloyalty and give them to the player(with loyalty). Lasts about a minute
- Players with disloyalty will inversely have items stolen from them when they aren't looking(they run away when looked at), in hard mode they can even throw the items into nearby lava or cliff. Can be removed with milk or feeding a fox. Lasts about 30 seconds
Why?
- Gives a fun interaction for foxes with other mobs of the game.
- Discourages attacking them and adds more challenge to hard mode.
- Adds a way to guarantee armor or weapons used by mobs such a trident drowned(although difficult to pull off in this case).
- Possible funny PVP interactions where players can punish other players for hitting foxes, although is difficult to pull off.
