More Ocean seabed height variation would be nice, many have already mentioned taking advantage of the increased depth limit for deeper oceans, but currently we are also lacking in shallow waters, as most beaches turn into a sheer drop-off at sea level.
Perhaps a gently sloping shoreline with a continental shelf-like structure could be implemented near sandy coastlines. The slope and length of the shallow ocean could vary for even more variety, from what we currently have to stretches of 1-2 block water over a layer of sand.
I believe this would increase beach variety and give sandy beaches something it currently lacks.
