Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Another use for the nether star!

So, as we all should know, the only use for the nether star is to create beacons. But, for all the trouble you have to go through for it isn’t really fair if it’s only use is for a block that can only be used if you have a certain amount of ore-blocks. My proposal is that nether stars can be used to craft some sort of waypoint, with the waypoint having how many blocks away you are from it. It’s a win-win, seeing as some players easily lose their bases and farms, and it improves the overall experience of the game. And uh. That’s it. c:

    You can make waypoints with 3 obsidian, 1 nether star & 3 purpur blocks.

    It costs 5 levels per 500 blocks traveled. 5 second cooldown between uses.

    Needs a netherite pickaxe to drop an item. blast resistance of 18,000,000, hardness of 25.

    Might have a 20% to spawn in jungle temples, at most every 50 square chunks.
