Note blocks should be able to be played in your inventory

I think note blocks should be able to be played in your inventory. You could craft wool and a note block to make a guitar note block or mix it with a hay bale to make a banjo note block... It would allow people to play music together with their favorite instruments and the sound system is already in place. The pitch could be the direction you flick your joystick (Console) /point your mouse (Computer) /drag on your mobile device. I can see before sleeping every night playing a song with my friends, or if we wanted to PvP somebody playing war music.
