After reviewing the third experimental snapshot, I’ve started to think of ideas for the badlands biome. I always loved coming across the biome since it resembles a lot of the structures and rock formations I've seen in places like Utah/Arizona. The red sandstone cliffs are often prone to erosion, especially by wind and water, and this can result in amazing and even crazy formations that you don’t normally see in other regions. These include mesas, arches, hoodoos, and buttes. In the old generation for the badlands we of course had the giant mesas that sometimes had trees on top, and I feel it would be a shame to remove those. In fact I always liked how some biomes had their own unique terrain. Though I love the new generation that I saw in the snapshot, I feel like there is unfulfilled potential. To get to the point, I think the mesas should be brought back, as well as add some more structures like the ones I mentioned above! It would make the badlands a much more unique environment to explore. On a few smaller notes, the badlands also seem to be too common. This one makes finding the normally rare biome a far less rewarding experience, as well as making gold a little too easy to come by. On this I’m sure others agree but I wanted to mention, this could also apply to jungles, tall birch forests, and mega taiga. Also possibly change the texture of red sand? Honestly it feels a little to “neon” and less natural. Finally, the biome vote features? Vultures?
