Chalk Dust

Like many previous comments about the need for chalk. I'd like to add chalk dust. Mined with pick you get dust like redstone. Mined with silk touch gets chalk block.  Color chalk block with dye like wool (dye + water bucket?) then break to get different colored chalk dust.  Chalk dust would have the same atrubutes and uses as redstone dust but inert. Use it to make trails in caves similar to a bread crumb trail.
