Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Coarse Gravel

Coarse gravel naturally spawns on mountains, near rivers, on ocean floors and in shattered savannas.

It's something between stone and gravel.

Coarse gravel has four different colored variants: (dark) gray on ocean floors, light gray on mountains, brownish-greenish near rivers and beige/orange in shattered savannas.

You can use four coarse gravel blocks to craft one cobblestone block, and one coarse gravel block smelted in a furnace will turn into one terracotta block.

You have to use tools with silk touch to get coarse gravel, otherwise you'll just get normal gravel. 

There should be a very small chance that coarse gravel also drops (raw) minerals ingots.

    Coarse Dirt is dirt that can't grow grass. So what's so special about Coarse Gravel? (Having it drop random raw ore seems out of place).
