Hominite (Smithing Material)

Hominite will be a new smithing upgrade to diamond, similar to netherite. From the name, this toolset revolves around homing abilities. You can assign your hominite gear to compasses, and they will be tracked when dropped.

The compasses will only track when they're in your hand, but they also lose durability. Since a piece of gear can only be assigned to one compass at a time, players will be encouraged to make more hominite gear.

Hominite can be made from 4 emeralds and 4 Skulk quartz (found in the Deep Dark). In conclusion, adding Hominite would encourage players to make more toolsets with situational purposes, also encouraging them to mine more diamonds.
