A way to force players to break spawners

    I don't think spawners were meant to be a "hinderance", but more as a way to make the dungeons actually have mobs in them without them all despawning.

    Plus, at this point, I think being able to use spawners for farming is a reasonable and "intended" use for them. I don't think they need to change it.

    Yes, this change could have a significant impact on the gameplay. That is why it is optional. Indeed, before creating the world, the player can easily turn off phantoms, spawn robber patrols, and turn on saving inventory.
