Antimatter (End fluid)

Antimatter is an invisible fluid that fills the Antimatter Chasm. All entities inside it will not obey gravity, you can swim inside it, falling blocks will not fall if there is antimatter below it, and plants and snow will not grow/accumulate inside it. You can also pick it up and place it with bottles, and destroy it by placing blocks or pouring flowing water onto it. Though in order to truly see and manage antimatter, you need to defeat a Rift for its exclusive drops.

This would be very useful for "flying" in survival, simulating outer space in certain areas, and functioning as an alternative to string.

    But does the water itself flow down, but everything in it go up? Or is it the other way?

    The water will flow down and destroy any antimatter in the way. Antimatter itself doesn't flow. Also, entities inside it will not obey gravity, so anything that enters antimatter will retain its momentum.
