Ice doesn't make you faster

Have you ever tried skipping on slippery ice? Even if it did, it was clearly not faster than normal running.

    It's like ice skating. It is faster. However, being able to jump across while still going faster is kind of odd.

    The smithing table will allow you to install spikes on your boots, eliminating slipping on ice, but eliminating stealthy steps due to knocking.
