Meteorite Event

Idea: A rare random meteorite event in the Overworld. Players could see a meteor entering the atmosphere and watch its direction, allowing them to decide whether to follow it. After impact, a crater would remain with damaged terrain, scattered stone, and possibly lava.

At the center of the crater, players could find a new rare metal. In its natural state, the metal would be radioactive and slowly damage nearby players until it is fully mined. Only advanced tools could mine it.

Once collected, the metal could be used to craft special equipment such as armor, tools, or weapons that provide small bonuses like increased strength, movement speed, or jump height.

The metal could have a subtle glowing green appearance, providing light in dark areas while still fitting Minecraft’s visual style.

We share this idea simply as enthusiastic players who love the game and enjoy imagining new possibilities.
