Would be a huge QOL boost if crafting recipes would prioritize common, renewable materials over non renewable and/or later-game materials that can be used for the same purpose, e.g. crafting a stone pick prioritizes cobble (common, easily renewable), then blackstone (renewable through trading, only available after nether access), and only uses deepslate (currently non-renewable) if none of the others are available, same for furnaces and so on. For wood crafting, prioritizing overworld wood over fungal woods would be helpful for things that aren't reliant on wood type, e.g. chests and noteblocks. Thanks for reading c:
