Ruby Equipment

since the released of minecraft 1.16, there was a new minecraft ore only in the nether (ancient debris) when you smelt the ancient debris, and add 4 scrap and 4 gold ingot of does in the crafting table, you wi get an new ingot thats called netherite ingot but we all know that, what if theres an new ore in the game to create an new equipment (well its been in the game for i while) lets bring back ruby to minecraft, then we will have a new generation of equipment using rubys, we will have ruby sword, ruby pickaxe, ruby axe, ruby shovel, ruby hoe, and ruby armor.

    ruby[9.0] is the same type of gemstone as amethyst[7.0],( sapphire )[9.0], emerald[7.75], and diamond[10.0].it's mohs scale is to close to diamonds(only diamonds are harder gems),and will make a difference between gold and diamonds . although gold is actually weaker than iron , i don't know why most games make them harder than most iron. iron [4.25] gold[3.4]

    Why would you? What are the properties of a ruby that should be used for armor and tools? Ruby is fragile and absolutely unforgeable.

    there is actually emerald armor under review , so i don't think rubys will do it

    Ruby swords must be 7 attack damage pickaxe must be like diamond but stronger and like netherite but weaker

    Ruby tools make no sense, it would make more sense to use ruby as an enchantable gem for say, jewelry
