Lassos could be crafted with a lead and some extra string and how it could work is you would throw it and if it hits a mob or player it will wrap them up and then you can press use again to pull them back at you or you can just walk and it will work like a lead fooling them along with you but if a mob or player shows enough restraint going in the opposite direction you're trying to pull them in then they can break free of the lasso owasso could be put in your offhand that way you could also have a weapon in your main hand that way you could use it in battles as well as for catching animals and with it being able to be used on players you could lasso players off of animals that they are riding which could make pretty fun mini games and there could be some mobs that you wouldn't be able to ride normally but if you lasso them and get on them then you'd have something to control them but there would be some sort of thing that you need to maintain so they don't break free of the lasso and kick you off them which could allow for some better steeds.
