teleporters for minecraft

minecraft has many ways to do many things but it seems that in a practical sense movement is limited sure there are many modes of transportation but all involve crossing x amount of area to go to a destination thats why teleporters would be a valuable addition these unlike nether or end portals wouldn’t  just transport you from one world to another but form one place to the next in a world these could  be triggered via redstone to teleport you to them or could be linked with other teleporters to create a network perhaps there could be a sort of teleporter link that would allow you to go to a set port or even your spawn point allowing you to get across the world in a instant plus these wouldn’t  limit creativity  because travel methods are still needed to get to a location where one would want to place a teleporters but would then allow them to instantly travel from there base,mine, or even a neat town or cliff as minecraft expands and has more to see a quicker way to see all the amazing things and teleporters would greatly help with that and if they required  ender pearls obsidian  and redstone to make they would be late game meaning you still have a lot of time before getting them to find other ways of travel they also aren’t modern as they could be based around that magic of ender pearls with a dark obsidian frame and a inner purple glow with redstone dusting the bottom teleporters match the ascetic gameplay and feeling of minecraft there fore i think they should be added
