Minecraft needs a new sub-biome (wetlands in the savanna). A perfect place for a new sub-biome would be in the desert biome. It would be called an oasis, and depending on the surrounding biomes its geographical shape and blocks would change. For instance, say I am in a desert and I find an oasis, but I entered the desert from the dark oak forest nearby. The is also cold ocean surrounding the desert. The oasis spawns cod and salmon in the lake, and the tree is a dark oak tree. Another, more unique oasis generation would be a desert surrounded by a swamp, mesa, and ice spikes. The oasis would spawn cod and salmon, as well as stray and husk at night. You can also find a rare wondering traded that sells gold items and has a wagon. The floor block would be the dead grass and terracotta like in the mesa, and the trees would be oak and dot the shore of the lake. The water would be murky and have lily pads. As for basic oasis generations, some trees (wood being the wood surrounding the desert) a lake, fish (depending on the water ), and passive mobs.
