Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ender Gems

Ender Gems can be found in the End City. They can be crafted into Ender Dust which can be brewed into a potion of Ender, which increases the distance an Ender Pearl can be thrown. This can make a better escape from hostile mobs. Ender Gems can also be used as a firework star to create Enderman eyes when the firework is shot off. The Ender Gem Ore can emit light, similar to Redstone Ore. It would really be cool to see a mineral in the End.
