Axolotls should regenerate like they do in real life!!

Axolotls have power to regrow their limbs, bones, and even heart in real life. I would like these cute little marsupials to regenerate in Minecraft as well. Such as, let's say, getting hit by a diamond sword. 30 secs later, they regenerate 1 heart. This would make Minecraft a bit more practical. If the player wanted to, say, capture the Axolotl in a bucket, but accidentally hurt it, it would regen inside of the bucket. Is this achivable?

    Axolotls DO have Regen abilities. When they take damage they "play dead", and get Regeneration I for a short duration.

    In addition, Axolotls also grant Regen to the player if they assist it in battle against an enemy.

    They do after taking a certain amount of damage. Try hitting one a few times (i feel bad for saying it but it's true)
