With the new changes to the ores, It made me think. Mojáng changed the ores texture to differentiate them for people with colour blindness, so why not do the same for armour. Now i don't mean to completely re-texture and change the entire theme of the sets. but instead similarly to how netherite has the small ripples on the chest-piece, and how chainmail, well looks like chain. to add small variations like these to the armour could help people who have trouble distinguishing them, and add a bit of visually distinct differences to the armour.
some ideas could be could be that iron has a slightly studded chest and have the helmet have a chin guard and a raised visor. or for leather to have some insulation or fluffy wool at the seems.
I think this would be a good idea because not only will it perhaps enhance the look of armour and make it more individual. but it mainly can help people with colourblindness tell them apart.
