Biome specific caves

The caves have gotten quite a bit of variation within the new 1.17/1.18 updates with the lush, dipstone and other variants of the caves but instead of adding more new features, we can extend upon the already existing ones.

Having biome specific caves where the caves match the surface would be a great addition to bring more variation and more options to go mining/caving. For example, in a badlands biome, the caves underneath could be the iconic terracotta patterns with stone patches until you hit y0 where of course, the deepslate caves start to generate. Another exmaple could include desert caves where its mainly sandstone and sand generating. As well as that, a snow biome could include icey and snowy caves.

These are all just brief examples of what the wide range of features, biome specific caves can include. I'd love to see this in the game in 1.18, even if that means delaying the update once more!

  Desert/Sandstone caves, along with a Red Sandstone variant would be cool! Along with ice caves, which lots of people have been suggesting. Undersea caves that are completely submerged, with bioluminescent plant-life and glow squids would also be epic!

  And maybe some rare mushroom caves that generate under mushroom islands...
