Studded Leather Armor

I have seen people talk about studded leather armor but I would like to make my own take on it How to make it: you need to have a peice of leather armor and an iron ingot in a smithing table Why does it need to exist: I think it kind of sucks that leather Is the weakest and only dye-able armor in the game. I think there should be a dye-able armor that lasts longer and protects you more because in order to have a cool different coloured outfit you sacrifice a lot of protection. How does it work compared to other armors: I think it should be a little bit worse or just as good as iron armor. Maybe studded boots could let you walk on powder snow just like leather boots too
