Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sound based Ancient Debris mining

Netherite is one of the best features to come from the Nether Update, except for how it's achieved. Forcing the player to branch mine at level 15 is boring and feels too much like overworld mining pre 1.18.

An idea I had in mind is to have Ancient debris generate every level in the nether, with the surface of lava lakes being the strongest (with no air exposure). When the player gets in a certain radius of a debris block, it would make a faint sound that resembles radioactive signals.

This would make mining in the Nether much more interesting and unique from mining diamonds even after 1.18.

    I was thinking, what if breaking blocks in the direction of a nearby ancient debris block sounded slightly different, so it doesn't tell you where it is unless you are already mining. I just think using sound to find things out (ie. finding things via sound or finding out the durability of items based on sound) would be cool. 

    For the subtitles, it could have an apostrophe or something equally difficult to notice. That way, deaf/hearing impaired people aren't left out.
