Steam/Steam Deck Release for Bedrock

Release Minecraft Bedrock on Steam so not only we can get Bedrock on Mac and Linux but on Valve's exciting new device!

    Minecraft on Steam Games store would be awesome. I don't care whether it is Bedrock or Java Edition. Although I would prefer Bedrock Edition.

    I would add to this that like the new Minecraft launcher it should integrate both the Java and Bedrock versions of the game. Don't care if in the same app/launcher or two separate ones.

    Steam/ or specific Steam Deck compatible BE option would be fantastic! Most of my friends I play Minecraft with play on the Switch with a realm, And I would love to be able to play on the go with them!

    Java already has Steam Deck support as the Steam Deck runs a version of Linux so you can play Java as long as you fix so that you can use controller and if you would want bedrock all that Microsoft would need to do is relese it for Linux as bedrock already has controller support

    As for releasing on the steam store I don't really know as it's technically a competitor to Microsoft but then also other Microsoft games like Minecraft Dungeons is on Steam

    I'm still waiting for this... If there is one game on top of my wish list for steam deck it is Minecraft Bedrock Ed. 😟

    minecraft bedrock on linux?????

    Please Mojang, you have minecraft bedrock on xbox, switch, 3ds, PlayStation, android, iOS, and windows. Just port it. It should not be that hard. At least much easier than the 3ds remake.

    Please! We at least need SOME form of native bedrock edition support for the steam deck. Same with Mac! Us bedrock players are dying off because of the sheer inconvenience it is to play on some devices.

    I bought a steam deck, Bought minecraft Java & Bedrock ultimate. Installed on steam deck only to find out that what my son loves the most, online multiplayer worlds, won't work. Can't get bedrock to work, need to buy google version now, which I read isn't the most stable port. Java won't connect online. Argggg

    I just dumped over $700 and it doesn't do what he loves most.

    Please help and don't make us buy yet another version. Java free if you have bedrock, well... Steamdeck free if you own either. Just let the kids play. He is putting together an esports team at his school because he has championed Minecraft from his Ipad. We are excited to enter tournaments and a steam deck would be the perfect device.

    How is there no Bedrock edition either in Steam store or via Flatpack?

    come on mojang/microsoft, please make this happen.
