Steam/Steam Deck Release for Bedrock

Release Minecraft Bedrock on Steam so not only we can get Bedrock on Mac and Linux but on Valve's exciting new device!

    Please release a official version of minecraft bedrock because you can already play java on Steam os so please make first bedrock. There is no way to play bedrock on Steam os and switching from steam os is bad.

    I would appreciate a way to play with other friends on all platforms without emulating the Android version on my Steam Deck. It would also fit the whole Better Together slogan. Since Minecraft is about having fun and it is always a lot more fun to do the things you enjoy with the people you like!

    Bedrock for the deck would be sweet. I think you should also add official support for steamdeck controls to Java as well.

    Mojang’s easiest solution is most likely to have a Minecraft package on Flathub. Cross-distro support and easily usable on the Steam Deck. They can package all the dependencies they need for Bedrock. It would also mean more people buying servers since more people would be looking to play Bedrock Minecraft cross-platform.

    Current wrappers to get bedrock working are serviceable at best. An official solution needs to be supported.

    This is one of the major things keeping me from playing minecraft right now...even funnier you could put it up for free on steam then require the same logins as normal without needing to pay valve

    Current Minecraft solutions are incredibly buggy, inefficient, and difficult to control. Having an official port for the Steam Deck will greatly improve the Minecraft portable experience on the Deck.
