Scuba Gear! (Please read)

I always found the water biomes to be really hard to explore, with such limited air and it just being pretty hard to see and move around in. This leads to me not bothering to explore it or make potions to explore it when it's pretty easily missable. My suggestion involves making the sea similar to another realm by introducing Scuba gear. I never liked the idea because it seemed too out of place, but thinking about how beneficial it would be to the sea in minecraft, I think it should be added. You wouldn't have unlimited air, just a largely increased capacity so you can explore the ocean without having to constantly watch the meter. You still have to check it and go up to refill. With scuba gear, you should be able to see your surroundings clearly and able to spend lots of time in the water. Going diving would help get you ores from the crevasses, the magma blocks would be deadly obstacles to watch out for, and if they added deeper depths, going diving into the deep dark abyss of the ocean would be terrifying and a unique experience not yet explored in minecraft. I hope this gets considered!

    I like this! Maybe there could be a way to upgrade air tanks to hold more oxygen as well if there were deeper waters to explore

    Minecraft isn't a modern-day kind of game. It's rather medieval themed even though I do agree with you. Scuba gear seems like something that someone would make a mod out of. Maybe something similar to this would be pretty cool.
