A cape for people who bought the game after the Microsoft Migration

The Problem:

People who could only buy the game after December 1st 2020, or with a Microsoft account (like me) are excluded from having a nice cape for themself.

Even bedrock players could get a cape once for free in 2019.

I feel left out of these nice rewards, and I think I'm not alone.
 
The Solution:
 
It would be nice if Microsoft account registered profiles could get an unique cape too!
Something like the Microsoft logo, or a grass block on the cape would look nice for example.

    I agree with this suggestion, as I personally feel very excluded, seeing all of my friends running around with capes and not me!

    I have been playing Minecraft for 10+ years and I've seen the game's gradual burst into popularity. I watched that all fizzle out in 2016, for it to soar back into popularity in 2019 and beyond.

    This is why I feel like it's a slap in the face for me, growing up with legacy console and bedrock, only being able to buy the java edition in early 2021 due to not being to afford a suitable PC for most of my life.

    I hope they add a cape for people in my situation, as I also feel left out because I have been playing Minecraft significantly longer than most of my entire friend group, so for me, who is the only one without a cape feels wrong.

    I agree! I had a Mojang account for like 3 years ago. But I buy the game after migration happened. Why? You know, because Asian parents don't usually allow their child to buy virtual stuff like games, They expected games to be free.

    Yeah! We want capes too! Me and my kids all bought Minecraft through Microsoft accounts. Totally feeling left out if we don't get one too.

    its not our fault that we don't have a mojang account at least we have purchased minecraft and made a microsoft acc. even the bedrock edition gives a cape for free pls listn us and make a cape for those who purchased the game after the migration

    I agree.

    I bought the game fairly recently, but before the migration started.
    I work in IT and am well aware of what a humongous pain it is to migrate user accounts, so when presented with the option between mojang or microsoft account, I chose MS, if only not to have those likely migration issues.

    It saddens me to see that people who informed themselves and actively try to avoid problems, both for MS/MJ as for themselves, don't get the same perks as people who don't care about if it works until it suddenly doesn't anymore, despite the announcement of the change being more than a year earlier and with a notification on their launcher every time they open Minecraft.

    I hope this isn't a sign of what the future will bring...

    Same they should add the Pan Cape or something to Java as there is the Pan Cape on bedrock

    100% agree! I literally made my account a couple days after this rolled in and I feel left out because its impossible for me to get a migrator cape, and obviously minecon capes are impossible too. All i want is a mc cape lol

    I agree because every time I see someone with the cape I feel sad or left out, and I really like the cape.
