Im a big fan of Minecraft and out of all the years i havent seen much change in the water, What i surgest is changes with the rivers and sea, The sea will be more of a survival threat as it will add waves, These waves wont do much harm on a sunny day no these are much greater threats on stormy days, they can destroy your boat and may nock you many block below, with this threat you might wanna check the weather before you head out to sea. The water will now have stream/rivers, The streams will only give you a small push but the rivers will bamage you apon every block you hit you'll have to think fast is you wanna live, The water falls can apear at the end of rivers leadind to a lake they may have bolders at the end so watch your fall, as the streams they will have little water falls leadind to a pond or cross into a river. With this dynamic its will be the players fault for not watching there step to counter this there could mabey be abandon bridges how are those wondering traders gonna get across safe.
