I want to see an update that overhauls the How do you make your food in Minecraft to How you prepare it until How you consume it.
As we know the Farming mechanics of Minecraft is very lacking and it really needs an overhaul as Minecrafts Farming and food mechanic hasn't changed since the release of Minecraft.
In this Update it could include new Tools like a Sickle that can either get unique seeds that cannot be obtained by just breaking grass. Such new crops and food items could be Fruits like Mangoes, Banana, Apples and Pineapples to New crops like Rice, It could also add new Animals, new structures in villages that contain Farming items and a new crafting table like a Smiting table for making Food, like Chocolates by adding Cocoa beans and Milk. In which it could be used to make a Chocolate Cake for example. And Different kinds of Bread, sandwiches that combine meat and bread or even some Rice dishes.
To give an element of strategy we could only allow certain crops to grow in certain biomes like Wheat doesn't grow in mountains. And even certain crops grow faster in certain biomes and less so in other. New Enchantments can also be added that automatically replaces the seed once you harvest Potato's for example
