Silver armor that scares undead mobs

My idea is silver ore that spawns with at the same level and with as much rarity as diamonds and can only be mined with a diamond pick, although when crafted into armor it only has as much protection as iron and can’t be enchanted (can’t be crafted into tools or weapons). The reason the player would want this new armor is because it would scare off all undead mobs except the Wither and Wither skeletons.
