Lightning rod oxides

You know when you make the lightning road out of 3 copper and copper oxides. Why doesn't lightning rod do this it made out copper and it a small feature that could look cool as green. This feature could use as decorative, or show that anything made out of copper mainly should oxsideeds. It also could be a useless feature maybe to have lightning rod oxides can be use toame sure you clean it in order for it to work or something. You can also use it to as a way to put it on villager house. I don't know which category this belong in but don't deteled this idea of main.
