netherite is the name of the alloy itself.

Example: Bronze is the name of the alloy (made of tin and copper)

However, you could name Bronze instead: Tin-Copper >alloy< , only in that case would adding "alloy" be right

Netherite is a material found in the Nether. The fact that the alloy made out of Netherite and Gold has the same name as the raw material is confusing: is Netherite the material? It is the alloy name? Then if it's not the material, then what it is the Netherite Scrap? Renaming Netherite into into Netherite Alloy into will resolve this confusing topic

The netherite used by who- or what -ever originally created it is too hard to be worked with the smithing techniques of current Minecraft players, and must be alloyed with gold to make it weak enough to be workable. However, seeing as there is no "netherite ore" that means that "netherite" is likely either already an alloy, or it did not origininate exist in the nether in the first place... possibly both...

If it is already an alloy, then the netherite we use is "a different netherite," similar to how there are different types of steel, bronse, or brass.

I do really like the idea of making alloys a thing, though, perhaps it could be a single item named based on it's metal content (brass if it is mostly gold, bronse if it is mostly copper, netherite if it has a significant amount of netherite, steel if it is mostly iron, ect.) and based on it's metal contents, it could have various stats (workability(can it be crafted... mostly applies if you add too much netherite or too much coal(carbon)), strength(durability), weight(armor protection), enchantability, etc?)
