Bring Back Colored Portals

Ok so in the one April Fools snapshot we got infinite dimensions and when creating these dimensions it would change the color of the portal block. The code has already been made so why can't this just get put into a production release along with all the new world generation options to create the new dimensions. This would give map makers and server creators a whole new tool to tinker with and create new and amazing features. Maybe this could even be put in to get in survival so you could change your nether portal color to match your base design or something like that. Just like right click a dye on the portal and it changes the color or something similar.

    this is cool idea except that then there would be infinite worlds to choose from and that would pretty much completely break the game

    Just because you bring back coloring portals doesn't mean anything about making the infinite dimensions. It would be cool to make it possible to change the dimension that a specific portal block takes you to but I think thats outside of this suggestion.
