In Java 1.17, shulker boxes became renewable in a complex fashion involving shulker bullet impacts(explained below) this change allows complex farms to be created to farm shulker shells, something that helps survival players who want to make large builds but don’t have the time to end bust thousands of blocks to get to the nearest end city for a couple of shulker boxes. I do not know why this change was not implemented in 1.17 for bedrock, but I do wish it to come in the nearest update.
In regards to the possibility of the calculations being too complex, make the duplication simpler in bedrock than in Java, eventually changing it when the feature becomes easier to reach pairity with Java.
The game mechanic is a simple concept get a shulker bullet to hit a shulker, and there is a chance that it will spawn a second shulker, which will immediately teleport to a random location within a certain radius. Some in game manipulation, and we can farm shulkers.
all in all, this feature would be a fun challenge for technical players, and a useful tool for all end game players who do not wish to fill their world with unused end chunks.
