Desert Sinkholes (New Cave Biome)

I feel like it'd be intresting to see a new cave biome in the desert! I suggest the Sandstone sinkholes. These cave biomes would be portions of the desert where huge sinkholes could be found where the sand had collapsed in. The cave would go deep in the ground, and have many connecting caverns that went throughout the underground. In these caves ores like Iron and copper would be very abundant. A new mob named "The Sunken" would spawn there along with the husk. The Sunken would appear to be a humanoid mob that had sand dropping off of it and would stagger about despite being very close when the mob gets a hold on you it would throw sand in your eye, temporarily giving the player blindness and attacking them quickly. The sunken would drop sand and iron, and also have a rare chance to drop tools like shovels. The caves flora would consist of cacti and other assortments of desert like flowers. Overall this biome would give the player more of a reason to go to the desert.
