Since the "waxed" variants of many blocks have already been added I would like to propose being able to mix Redstone Dust and Beeswax to create Redwax. One a block has been redwaxed, it can only be powered by Redstone accessories and only power adjacent blocks that have also been redwaxed or other adjacent Redstone accessories. It will have the same block range as Redstone Dust. The blocks that have been redwaxed do not need new skins; their descriptions will just read "Redwaxed_InsertBlockHere". This could make aesthetic Redstone builds a thing... something people have been requesting for a long time. To be specific the problems being solved here are multiple: a problem with efficiency an realty: traditionally Redstone requires two blocks of space, one for the base block and one for the Redstone Dust meaning a placement of two blocks is required to get one result and the build takes two blocks of space. Aesthetics: inclusion of Redstone in any build makes it much bulkier and takes much more space to hide it. This makes Redstone undesirable to those who want aesthetically appealing builds; if you had a way to hide Redstone within normal blocks, it would be more marketable/useful to a larger playerbase. It would be nice to have a beautiful build where a lever could be pulled and pistons could extend or contract without any apparent Redstone. It would make Redstone new again and improve the intersection between technical builders and creative designers.
