Half my blocks are on the floor, but I am up here.

When building, there often comes a time where you have made a mistake, and the only way to fix the mistake is, of course, by breaking the block. But, the problem is, you are standing on a block that is on the same level as the one you are trying to break and you can't get any lower, so when you break the block, half the time you are just gonna drop it. You either go pick that block back up, or you just continue on and let that block despawn. Why not just let me pick up the block again when breaking it without having to go down to pick it up? I feel punished for making a mistake while building, and I don't really feel that's a good time or place to punish the player.

Bundle Enchantment maybe? I'm imagining a bundle that automatically picks up blocks you mine.
