Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shell Sand

Shell sand could be a new type of sand that generates in jungles, deserts, beaches and islands of warm and lukewarm oceans.

If you mine shell sand with a normal pickaxe or your hand, you get shells out of it. You can craft something like a "shell block" out of them, which you can use as a decorative block for buildings or so. 

If you have a pickaxe with the enchant silk touch you recieve the shell sand block itself (and you have a very little chance - lets say 0.1% - that this block also drops raw gold, emeralds or diamonds)

If you put the shell sand block into the furnace, you get something like a shell sand stone, which can also be used for building and so on.

You guys out there: Do you have any other suggestions for what to do with shells and shell sand? I think this would be a nice feature!

    With the new glow ink sack  it should also be used for banners
