Smelting Armor

Smelting armor back to its item form is way too underpowerd. With the amount of armor you get from a standard Xp grinder using a zombe and/or skeleton spawner, makes these farms extremely tedious to control item flow, as its not worth it to smelt it down in the current state of the game. Also, with the adition of raw ores, and piglin bartering, i feel this part of the game has been neglected.

 

My solution? Smelting a tool or armor back to its item form should always drop 1 ingot of the corresponding type, exept for items that only needed 1 ingot to craft. these items just get destroyed without dropping anyhing. That way it will become more lucarative, and wil incentivize players to "do something" with the overwhelming amount of armor and tools you get from certein farms!

    Lookin at you, Shovel. *glares at iron shovel, which is the only tool that wouldn't give an ingot when smelted*

    not exactly. It would just be too O.P. seeing as shovels would be reneweble that way. And chainmail armor still stays the same so its not the only one!
