Cave ambience: Random player sounds

If you go very deep underground you should start hearing random player sounds from an unknown location. It could be walking, running or mining that sounds faint and far but starts to sound closer until it suddenly stops. I think this would give minecraft its ominous and mysterious vibes back from the earlier days of the games life.
