Using the power of Redstone and the conductivity of copper, player can create various defenses. Imagine an electrified barrier around your base that can be shut off with a skulk sensor or item filter. You create separate nodes, like lightning rods, but place a line of copper enhanced Redstone wire between them (more on the Enhanced Redstone in another post of mine). Each node will emit 15 power, the further away, the less power and subsequently, the less damage. You can stack the nods but you will also need to stack the wire. You can freely walk through the wire of course, but once activated, entities will be bounced back from the shock. Perhaps the damage and range of the nodes can be increased by enhancing them, just like my other enhanced Redstone, or perhaps 15 should be a base value, since its damage could become too high and 'over-powered' (that joke at least deserves a follow).
I think this could work in both Java and Bedrock editions, since all it really needs is power at the nodes. Powering the wire itself won't do anything since it can't channel the power of lightning like the nodes can.
